yes no stay go

Hold on tight, the whiplash is warp-speed.

We did not get the apartment. The universe, via the IRS, said "thou shalt not move to Bozeman SEPARATED if you are legally MARRIED" or something like that.

EEEKKKKK sound of screeching brakes. Just two weeks ago exactly we said YES to all the big signs and even bought a bed. Just ONE week ago we confessed to Aunt Renee and then the entire class that yes, we were on our way.

We are still on our way. Just not quite so fast.

I'm thinking, Paris in June for my 50th birthday and THEN we go. In July, just like I predicted in the beginning.

Meantime, he can do his kitchen work right here in Florida, at home together.

Somebody must need it that way, probably all of us.

Now to resuscitate my business and head into fall under full, abundant sail.

Here We Go

Recap of the past two weeks:

Rescued hubby from the United Airlines abandonment fuck-up? check.

He finished his cycling trip through the Montana mountains in a heat wave still in one piece and upright? check.

I met him in Bozeman and we shopped for an apartment?

CHECK.

He is flying back in three weeks to move in?

CHECK

I have just been through the most intense process of my entire life?

oh my god check.

It's really all true. Four days of non-stop process, seeing the beauty of new life opening before us and feeling the pain of stepping forward from our former life. Feeling the pain of being separated. I don't want to be apart from him, but I know it doesn't work for him here.

He's a different man already.

If he gets it going out there, I can semi-retire.

It's that kind of puking excitement.

Wonder if I'll be able to keep a straight face and my focus on during work Monday.

AND then we fly to MA for one last class up there, complete with reservations at the local skanky Howard Johnson Express Inn. Dear God. Why?

So that's the basic story and the beginning of something very big.

Here we go!
